Chickens & Eggs
***We are not a commercial hatchery but sometimes we have extra chickens & chicks for sale.
In addition to chickens for sale, we raise wonderful, naturally produced free-range chicken eggs in fun assorted colors.
Our chickens are raised on a healthier diet of feed that is non-gmo, fermented and/or sprouted as much as realistically possible while they pick up extra fresh goodies in the garden & farm. Check with management on current availability.
*Fertilized eggs possibly available this spring as some of the gals are in with "Rusty", the Whiting True Blue Roo.

Chicken Breeds Currently Available:
Chicks, Pullets, Hens & even Roos ;)
- 1 Black Marans (Feb '23 hatched) $25
* Excellent egg layers. These are not Black "Copper" but do have what I would call a "medium dark" egg but with better production than the Black Copper Marans.
- 1 Amberlink (Feb'23 hatched) $25
* Note: Amberlinks are not sex-linked in color as new chicks but feather sexed. The male chicks will hatch with shorter primary wing feathers. Also, as they age the cockerels will actually get their feathers slower than the pullets. When older, there is a slight difference between placement of amber color besides a pretty obvious darker/bigger comb and wattle.
2022 Hens - a few available after early pullets start laying this summer.

* We are hoping for Whiting True Blue Chicks or hatching eggs coming up for sale 2025. Prolific and beautiful blue eggs! 2024 year pullets started laying at 4 months. Amazing!
* On occasion, we may heavily discount hens (3+yrs. or ones that just need to be culled for whatever reason) to
be used for consumption (bone broth, etc.) if they are first dispatched here at the farm before leaving.
... And of course, don't forget the ROOSTERS! :

*We may do discounts on Roos, when available, if bought in package and dispatched here at the farm.

*** Prices subject to increase at any point due to feed/resources & time. Usually, chicks have been raised inside my house for 6 +/- weeks before moving out to the "chickie nursery" coop!
